Just got a job from KMA after the Tattershall Castle film- they need an animation for their Olympic 2012 presentation and I’m the lucky one who they contacted. What an amazing project… Check out their work its incredible.

House of Bling Exhibition
August 11th, 2009 § 0
This video was filmed and edited in one working week. I arrived in Tattershall on Sunday evening and the final film was shown at the private view on the following friday night. It was a very enjoyable project but a huge challenge to film and edit under such a time constraint, there were a few late nights and early mornings, and although there’s things that I would like to improve, it reflected the energy of the exhibition and the huge amount of work that everyone put in.
here’s the link to the final video- you need quicktime to watch it

Sheffield Documentary Workshop

I pitched the Cromer Seaside Special idea at Sheffield Documentary workshop and it was selected as one of 6 projects to be worked up ready for the meetmarket in Nov. It was a great experience and had some real comprehensive training on what a pitch should be like and how to deliver it to commissioning editors. It culminated in all six projects being pitched to Tabitha Jackson (c4 “True Stories”) & Sally-Ann Wilson, 2 tremendously experienced commissioners.

Interesting edit, plenty of footage shot and really nice to follow someone around telling their story. I enjoyed this immensely as Mark had shot some really lovely footage and we had some interesting, creative ideas of how we wanted it to look. The edit just flowed for me, it was a breeze as there’s such great stuff to work with and it was an interesting human story. The client was so happy that they shed a tear at the end, which is exactly what you want as a filmmaker
Skeletons

Skeletons is the feature where my super powered edited suite, me and facilities at The Broadway Cinema have been hired for a very reasonable price. This was an interesting shoot and the film is unusual and unconventional, which is my preferred style of filmmaking. We used HD CAM and the Camera was a D21 which is a fantastic piece of equipment. I had a limited creative role but still interesting to see the whole film from start to finish. I learnt a great deal about organising an edit for a feature as my experience is primarily in factual programming.

STC asked me to put together a graphical video for a pitch to Arsenal football club- it was produced in a very short space of time working around the clock and delivered late the night before the presentation in London
